Turn every Unbounce lead into instant action

MarketingFormsAnalyticsAutomationCRM

Unbounce is the landing-page platform marketers use to build, A/B test, and optimise conversion pages without touching code. Connect it to Actionist and your agent can read every page's conversion data, manage A/B variants, sync leads to your CRM the instant a form is submitted, and update page metadata across campaigns — all from plain-English instructions, all without opening the Unbounce dashboard.

Lead-to-onboarding in 90 seconds

The moment a high-intent visitor submits the Unbounce demo-request form, your agent reads the page's lead record to confirm the submission is complete, updates the page metadata to flag the campaign as active, posts a welcome message in the #onboarding Slack channel with the lead's name and company, and drops a kickoff call onto the CSM's Google Calendar — all before the new customer has closed the confirmation tab. No lead falls through the gap between marketing and success.

What your team gets back — two angles: what you stop doing manually, and what that's worth.

What you do manually today

With Actionist

What your agent runs for you

  • Sales
    18 min / week
    Manual lead export

SDRs log in to Unbounce, export a CSV, and paste new leads into the CRM every morning — an 18-minute routine that delays follow-up by hours.

    Sales Agent
    0 min
    Agent syncs leads instantly

The moment a form is submitted, the agent pushes the lead directly to HubSpot with all field values mapped, so the SDR queue is updated in real time.

  • Marketing
    13 min / week
    A/B winner declaration

The CRO team checks variant stats manually across a dozen pages each week, calculating which version hit significance and adjusting traffic splits by hand.

    Marketing Agent
    0 min
    Agent declares and applies winner

Once a test reaches significance the agent sets the winning variant to 100% traffic and posts the final conversion delta to #growth — no manual intervention.

  • Customer Support
    18 min / week
    Lead lookup for tickets

Support agents copy-paste customer emails into Unbounce to find which landing page a customer came from before they can answer questions about the offer.

    Customer Support Agent
    0 min
    Agent surfaces submission context

When a support ticket arrives the agent fetches the lead's original form submission from Unbounce and attaches it to the ticket so the rep has full context instantly.

  • Human Resources
    7 min / week
    Careers-page lead check

HR manually scans the careers landing page for application submissions each day, copying contacts into the applicant-tracking spreadsheet by hand.

    Human Resources Agent
    0 min
    Agent routes applications automatically

Every careers page submission triggers the agent to log the applicant in the ATS and send the hiring manager a notification with the applicant's details attached.

  • Finance
    13 min / week
    CPL report assembly

Finance pulls Unbounce conversion counts and manually reconciles them against ad spend data in a spreadsheet to calculate cost-per-lead for each campaign.

    Finance Agent
    0 min
    Agent calculates CPL automatically

The agent fetches conversion counts per page, maps them against budget rows, and posts a reconciled CPL report to the finance channel every Monday morning.

  • Operations
    25 min / week
    Domain SSL monitoring

Ops checks Unbounce domain status and SSL expiry dates manually every week across all connected custom domains to prevent certificate lapses before campaigns launch.

    Operations Agent
    0 min
    Agent monitors and alerts proactively

The agent fetches every domain record weekly, flags any SSL expiring within 7 days, and opens a DevOps task automatically so no certificate lapses under live ad traffic.

  • Legal
    6 min / week
    GDPR erasure processing

Legal manually searches for data-subject erasure requests inside Unbounce, locates the correct lead record across multiple pages, and deletes it before the 30-day deadline.

    Legal Agent
    0 min
    Agent handles erasure end-to-end

The agent finds the lead by email across all Unbounce pages, deletes the record, and logs the deletion with a timestamp in the compliance tracker — all within minutes of the request.

Connect

How to plug Unbounce into Actionist

Pick the connection method that suits your environment.

The fastest path: install the Unbounce MCP server in one click and the agent connects to your landing pages, leads, and form data through a permissioned OAuth handshake. No API tokens to copy, no credentials to rotate.

1
Open the Apps tab

Find Unbounce in the Apps library and click Connect. MCP is selected by default.

2
Authorise in Unbounce

A browser window opens to Unbounce's OAuth consent screen. Sign in with your Unbounce account credentials and grant Actionist read/write access to your pages, leads, and form submissions.

3
Test the connection

Actionist runs a read-only call to verify the handshake. You're ready.

FAQs

Questions about Unbounce + Actionist

How does Actionist connect to Unbounce?
The recommended path is MCP: click Connect in the Apps tab, authorise via Unbounce's OAuth consent screen, and the agent gets a permissioned token automatically — no API keys to copy. If your organisation restricts OAuth, you can also paste a personal API token from Unbounce Account Settings → API.
Which Unbounce objects can the agent read and write?
The agent can read and write Pages, Page Variants, Sub-pages, Domains, Leads, Conversions, and Form Submissions. It can also make arbitrary API calls for endpoints not covered by dedicated actions, such as webhook registration or custom stats exports.
How quickly does the New Form Submission trigger fire?
Unbounce delivers webhook payloads within seconds of a form submission. The trigger receives the full field payload — name, email, and every custom field — so the agent can act on the data immediately without polling.
Can the agent delete leads? Is that safe?
Yes — the Delete page lead action permanently removes a lead record from Unbounce. Use it deliberately: it is irreversible. The safest pattern is to confirm the email address matches before deletion and log the action with a timestamp in a compliance tracker, especially for GDPR erasure workflows.
Will the agent accidentally modify the live page design?
No. The Update page metadata and Update page variant actions only change metadata fields — name, URL slug, traffic weight, enabled state — not the visual HTML content of the page. Changing page design requires the Unbounce editor; Actionist cannot access or modify page HTML.
How do I avoid the New Form Submission trigger looping if my agent writes back to Unbounce?
The trigger fires on visitor submissions only, not on API writes, so a loop cannot form through the trigger itself. If you use Update page metadata or Update page variant in the same workflow, those writes do not re-fire the webhook. The one edge case to watch: if your agent creates a sub-page with a form and you have a global trigger listening to all pages, scope the trigger to a specific page ID to prevent unexpected firings.
Does the agent respect Unbounce's API rate limits?
Unbounce's REST API enforces rate limits per account. Actionist batches read requests where possible and honours 429 responses with exponential back-off. If you are running high-frequency audits across hundreds of pages, schedule them during off-peak hours to avoid hitting the per-minute cap.
What happens if I disconnect Unbounce from Actionist?
Disconnecting revokes the OAuth token immediately. Any workflow that includes an Unbounce action or trigger will stop and surface a connection-required error on its next run. Your Unbounce data and pages are unaffected — nothing is deleted. Reconnect via the Apps tab to resume.
